Update! Transcription of P72 & More

October 9th, 2017

Another Ancient Manuscript Transcription update: this time it’s 𝔓72, containing the letters designated 1 Peter, 2 Peter, and Jude!

I’ve also gone through the rest of the uploaded ancient MS transcripts, and brought them up to date with the format of current ones, and also amended some errors in transcription and the accompanying English translations.

As usual, find general info regarding the transcripts here, and download them all from here 🙂

Update! Complete TC Edition & More

December 22nd, 2016

I may be cutting it quite close, but as mentioned back in April, I have managed to complete the DSS TC Edition! All Scriptural Books found among the Dead Sea Scrolls will now have their TC Editions online, both as separate books, and also in one giant TC Edition PDF File. Included in this Full publication are a small Preface, along with an Appendix regarding the text of Isaiah 61:1-2.

See the Downloads Page for the files to download/view 🙂

As with all TC Edition’s that have been completed, I end up updating most of the relevant Dead Sea Scrolls Transcriptions along with them. I did keep a ‘sort-of’ list, so may be worth re-downloading any document you’ve already had.

The list that I kept was as such:

4QpaleoDeutr; 1QDeuta; 4QDeutk2; 4QLevb; 4QLevd; 11QLevb; MasLevb; 1QIsaa; 1QIsab; 4QIsaa; 4QIsab; 4QIsac; 4QIsad; 4QIsae; 4QIsaf; 4QIsag; 4QIsah; 4QIsak; 4QIsal; 2QJer; Leviticus Parallel; Deuteronomy Parallel; Isaiah Parallel.

There is now very little I can do to assist in everyone’s DSS studies. Bar the occasional manuscript that appears once every decade or so, all of them are on TWTY for people to use for their studies!

I will be releasing them in other formats in the future (Bibleworks, E-Sword, even possible The Word), but these will be sporadic and won’t be coming forth any time soon.

I’ll also be taking a little break for at least up until the end of January. Then I will commence completing all the other projects I’ve already started (namely the Ancient Greek Papyri transcriptions & translations, as well as versions 2 and 3 of the Renewed Covenant Translation).

I have also removed a section from TWTY – and that is the Greek-English Interlinears section. I have come to understand that Interlinears don’t help – they rather hinder study, and make people think that they are translating when using an Interlinear to “assist”. They’re not; they’re mainly producing drivel. As such, I will not be producing any interlinear – ever. Plain parallel versions are fine though, so will be keeping those projects alive.

Anyway, apologies for waffling on. I shall stop 🙂

Hope everyone has an enjoyable new year, and I shall be posting again in 2017!

Downtime & Update

July 4th, 2012

First of all, my apologies for the downtime. Unfortunately, TWTY website was compromised by some malicious software, which effectively caused me to have to change webservers, and to also rebuild the website.

Thankfully, I had backups of practically everything, so now the site should be restored in full.

My apologies also to those who’ve had difficulty with the links in the Downloads page. They should now be back to full working order 🙂

I used this opportunity to change the address that the Forums were on (forum.thewaytoyahuweh.com is now http://forums.thewaytoyahuweh.com), and to also revamp the forums with a new look 🙂

Coincidentally, the downtime coincided with a new update that I was going to post up on TWTY, which I am now doing: Questioning Paul Review Part 2: The Eyewitness Accounts/The Messiah’s Words.

There will also be open discussion on this in the forum in the following thread: Forum Discussion.

Revelation: Greek-English Interlinear

November 27th, 2011

New update for TWTY today: A Greek-English Interlinear of the Greek Basis of the translation of the Book of Revelation in PDF form, all 96 pages of it 🙂

Please remember that a Greek-English Interlinear is NOT a translation, so it should not be used as such. Interlinears should only be used for looking up what a word means by itself, not necessarily how it is used in the context of the sentence that it is in 🙂

Section Complete: Greek Basis

October 29th, 2011

Something else I can cross off my to-do list.

I’ve finally completed the Greek Basis pages/pdf files for MattithYah (Matthew), Lucus (Luke) and Acts, therefore completing them all! This therefore means I have all the underlying Greek words for people to look at so they can check the translation seen here on TWTY. Consequently, I now also have the ability to make Greek-English Interlinear’s for all of the books as well 🙂

As usual, any and all PDF’s on TWTY can be downloads from the Downloads page, and quicklinks to the online webpages are on the sidebar to the right 🙂

Success! Smallest Papyri Complete

July 3rd, 2011

I just finished uploading the final “small” Ancient Greek Papyrus of the Renewed Covenant/New Testament writings. All 62 of them are available to download from the Ancient Papyrus webpage 🙂

I still have the “larger” ones to do (100+ pages for most of them): P4, P5, P13, P40, P45, P46, P47, P66, P72, P75, and P115.

But as I said before, I’m now going to be concentrating on looking at the manuscripts found among the caves of Qumran (Dead Sea Scrolls), so check back here soon for some stuff regarding them 🙂

Aaaaaaaaand….. done! (Déjà-vu edition)

February 15th, 2011

Well, even though I had technically finished translating all of the books of the Renewed Covenant, I had yet to release an updated version of The Letter to the Galatians. (Don’t forget to also have a read of The Great Galatians Debate.)

I’ve rectified that, and now all 27 books have been completed, uploaded onto the website in webpage and PDF form, as well as in a combined RAR file 🙂

Enjoy!

Oh, I’ve also released a Version 2 of the Book of Yahuwdah, and corrected a few spelling/grammatical errors here and there in the translations 🙂

(Now, I will actually have a bit of a break! ..or probably not. Still a lot to do!)

Aaaaaaaaand….. done!

January 31st, 2011

About four years and two & a half months ago, I embarked on a mission: to do a fully Amplified English Translation of all the books contained in what I would come to know as “The Renewed Covenant” (rather than “New Testament”). Not knowing really how long it would take, I told someone “I’ll be finished by February”. Thankfully, I didn’t state what year, because then that really was a completely daft thing to say.

Anyway, I kept true to my words: I did finish “by February”… February 2011.

That’s right folks – I’ve finished! I’m done! I’ve finally completed the mission upon which I embarked with this, the publication of the translation of 2 Timotheos, both on the website, and in PDF form 😀 😀 😀 😀

A tiny, tiny word of warning: the translations in their entirety come to almost 815,000 words, so, please don’t think you’ll be able to read them all in one sitting, unless, of course, you can read at 565.972 words per minute, and can stay awake for 24 hours 🙂

Now, I think I deserve a bit of a break, wouldn’t you agree?
