The Presbyter to the beloved and esteemed, dearly loved and highly regarded Gaius*, he whom I dearly love and welcome, entertain, look fondly upon and cherish with strong affection and highly esteem with great favour, goodwill and benevolence, am loyal to and greatly adore in, by and with the reality and disclosure, expression and certainty, uprightness and dependableness, genuineness and reliability, sincerity and honesty of the truth.

Beloved and esteemed, dearly loved and highly regarded one; I pray and vow, beseech and wish, invocate and ask the Supreme One about and concerning, regarding and on account of, because of and with respect to all individual and collective things, that you may prosper and be successful, lead along the true path and guided well, and that you will be well and sound, kept healthy and firm, reliable and righteous, whole and constant, just as and exactly as your soul prospers and is successful, lead along the true path and is guided well. For this reason, I was extremely glad and cheerful, merry and joyful, rejoicing exceedingly and celebrating considerably when brothers and fellow believers came, arose and appeared in view of the public, and were testifying and witnessing, sharing, confirming and affirming the reality and disclosure, expression and certainty, uprightness and dependableness, genuineness and reliability, sincerity and honesty of the truth that is within and inside of you, just as and exactly as you walk and behave, live, conduct and regulate your life, works and actions in, by and with the reality and disclosure, expression and certainty, uprightness and dependableness, genuineness and reliability, sincerity and honesty of the truth. I have and hold, acquire and receive, own and posses no greater or larger, intense or abundant, extraordinary or outstanding, excellent or superior joy, delight and gladness than this, so that and in order that I hear and attend to, consider and understand, comprehend and perceive, pay attention to and listen to the fact that my small children and offspring are walking and behaving, living, conducting and regulating their lives, works and actions in, by and with the reality and disclosure, expression and certainty, uprightness and dependableness, genuineness and reliability, sincerity and honesty of the truth.

Beloved and esteemed, dearly loved and highly regarded one; you are doing and performing, accomplishing and executing, practising and bringing about, undertaking, keeping and carrying out, constructing and establishing trust and reliance, obedience and confidence, certainty and guarantee, assurance and dependence in the Supreme One as the acts and deeds that you accomplish and execute, bring about and construct, establish and work, produce and perform, practise and carry out, acquire and enforce is for and on behalf of the brothers and fellow believers, and for these foreigners and strangers, who have testified and witnessed, shared, confirmed and affirmed your brotherly love and affection, good-will, esteem and benevolence before, in front of and in the presence of the called out Ekklesia, assembly and congregation. You will do and perform, accomplish and execute, practise and bring about, undertake, keep and carry out, construct and establish good and pleasantly, excellently and finely, usefully and beneficially, nicely and salutarily, uprightly and worthily, admirably and commendably, preciously and genuinely, flawlessly and lovely, virtuously, beautifully and honourably to send them on their way in a manner worthy and deserving, befitting, fitting and suitable of God*. For this reason, they went out and left, departed and pursued their journey on behalf of and for the sake of, concerning and about, on account of and in view of, with reference to and for the personal and proper name and title, character and person, reputation and authority, receiving and accepting, taking and seizing, acquiring and collecting, grasping and obtaining, choosing and selecting, claiming and procuring, apprehending and admitting absolutely nothing from the Gentile nations. Then and therefore, accordingly, consequently and these things being so, we ought to and must, are indebted and under obligation to take up and raise, carry and receive, welcome and bear, help and support such people like this and of this kind, so that and in order that we will come to be and exist, arise and appear as companions, fellow workers and helpers in the reality and disclosure, expression and certainty, uprightness and dependableness, genuineness and reliability, sincerity and honesty of the truth.

I wrote, recorded and composed something to the called out Ekklesia, assembly and congregation, but nevertheless, notwithstanding and on the contrary, Diotrephes*, he who desires, strives and aspires to be the first, pre-eminent and leader among them does not admit or receive, accept or welcome us hospitality, and instead rejects us and does not acknowledge or pay attention to us. Through the means of and on the grounds of, on account of and for the reason of, on the basis of and because of this, if I may come, arise and appear, I will remind him and recall to his mind, hint about and bring up the works and businesses, employments and undertakings, acts and deeds, tasks and labours that he is doing and performing, accomplishing and executing, practising and bringing about, undertaking, keeping and carrying out, constructing and establishing, prating and uttering nonsense, falsely accusing and blabbering lies, bringing empty charges and maliciously slandering us with evil and troublesome, sorrowful and poor, pitiable and unfit, unattractive and useless, worthless and morally reprehensible, morally corrupt and wicked, annoying and unethical, diseased and blind, perilous and criminal, vicious and malignant, harmful and incompetent, bad and wretched, pernicious and noxious words and sayings, messages and statements, declarations and thoughts, instructions and teachings, decrees, mandates and matters. Yet, not being satisfied and content with this, thinking it is inadequate and insufficient, neither does he admit or receive, accept or welcome the brothers and fellow believers, hospitality, and instead rejects them and does not acknowledge or pay attention to them, and he also hinders and prevents, forbids and denies, refuses and restrains, withholds and stops those who were purposely planning and intending, lovingly desiring and wanting, affectionately willing and wishing, deliberately choosing and preferring to do so, and casts and sends, drives and puts, expels and forces, repudiates and pulls, throws and removes them from out of the called out Ekklesia, assembly and congregation.

Beloved and esteemed, dearly loved and highly regarded one; do not imitate or mimic, follow or emulate what is bad or wicked, wrong or troublesome, pernicious or baneful, reproachful or abusive, worthless or unskilled, injurious or destructive, incorrect or harmful, evil or vicious, noisome or errant thinking, morally corrupt or diseased, culpable or derelict, mischievous or demonic, guilty or rotten, but nevertheless, notwithstanding and on the contrary, emulate the things that are good and pleasant, excellent and distinguished, useful and right, beneficial and fine, perfect and fitting, upright and worthy, admirable and satisfactory, dependable and pure, virtuous and honourable. Those who do and perform, accomplish and execute, practise and bring about, undertake, keep and carry out, construct and establish good and pleasant, excellent and distinguished, useful and right, beneficial and fine, perfect and fitting, upright and worthy, admirable and satisfactory, dependable and pure, virtuous and honourable things, he or she is and exists of God*; he or she who does and performs, accomplishes and executes, practises and brings about, undertakes, keeps and carries out, constructs and establishes bad or wicked, wrong or troublesome, pernicious or baneful, reproachful or abusive, worthless or unskilled, injurious or destructive, incorrect or harmful, evil or vicious, noisome or errant thinking, morally corrupt or diseased, culpable or derelict, mischievous or demonic, guilty or rotten things has not seen or perceived, observed or witnessed, known or experienced, recognised or respected, understood, comprehended or appreciated God*. Demetrius* has received a testimony and witness, sharing, confirmation and affirmation by everyone, individually and collectively, and by the reality and disclosure, expression and certainty, uprightness and dependableness, genuineness and reliability, sincerity and honesty of the truth herself. Moreover, we also testify and witness, share, confirm and affirm, and you also see and perceive, observe and witness, know and experience, recognise and respect, understand, comprehend and appreciate that concerning this, our testimony and witness, sharing, confirmation and affirmation is and exists as true and real, disclosed and certain, upright and dependable, genuine and reliable, sincere and honest.

I had and held, owned and possessed many numerous and large amounts of things to write and inscribe, record and compose to you, but nevertheless, notwithstanding and on the contrary, I did not want or wish, prefer or aim, intend, will or desire to write and inscribe, record and compose to you through the means of and on the grounds of, on account of and for the reason of, on the basis of and because of black ink and pen, but nevertheless, I hope and expect with confidence and trust to see and perceive, observe and witness, known and experience, recognise and respect, understand, comprehend and appreciate you immediately and right away, at once and straightaway, forthwith and instantly, and we shall speak and chat mouth to mouth. Peace and tranquillity, harmony and concord, security and safety, prosperity and freedom, exemption from chaos, felicity and the assurance of salvation to you. The friends and associates, close companions and beloved ones greet and salute, embrace and welcome, pay respect to and wish you well. Greet and salute, embrace and welcome, pay respect to and wish good to the friends and associates, close companions and beloved ones in accordance with and with respect to, in relation to and with regards to their personal and proper names and titles, characters and persons, reputations and authorities.
